Half Price Books

Unlike regular school teachers, homeschoolers don't always have the luxury of getting discounts at stores that offer teacher or school discounts. There are some places that make you prove you use an accredited program to be able to qualify for the discounts. Half-priced books on the other hand doesn't.

They do ask that you are part of a homeschool organization, but that's it really and by just filling out their Educator's card, you can get 10% off your purchases all year and 20% on Teacher and Librarian Weekend which is going on right now. 

All I can say is never underestimate a used book store. We go there all the time and never manage to walk out with our hands empty. Today, we even got a bonus, we walked out with a discount! 

We picked up a book of science experiments, several books on chess, manners books, a book filled with classic stories, a model airplane, and a puzzle!
