About Us

 

Corpus Christi Family is a homeschooling blog and family resource.  After having an interesting, but not so positive, experience with our children's private school, our family made the bold choice of homeschooling our three children! 

Our mission is to embrace as many adventures as we can with our children all the while, educating them in the fine art of 'life'. You may have a different perspective on what 'life' is for your family as I'm sure those around you have their own perspectives as well. For us, life is about family and faith. As we embark on our new adventures of homeschooling, 24/7 kids, and growing closer as a family, we're cataloging our travels. This is where you'll find us.

We certainly don't claim to have all the answers, or many of them yet for that matter, but we do claim to have a passion and a responsibility of producing well mannered, well behaved, faith driven, independent and inquisitive children. As parents, we believe it's our job to not only love our children in the best ways possible, but also to do right by them; to give them what they need and share with them what they want; to make 'life' a constant exploration and to embrace it as such.

As we embark on this very important journey, we'll be putting up resources, we find useful in our adventures. Feel free to drop us a line every once in a while with other resources, either on a local or national level. Our adventures are not limited by our city limits. 

We're also using this blog as way to promote local family friendly venues and events, so if you have one you'd like to include in our calendars, please let us know about them.  If we can assist in providing families, parents, moms, dads, and even children with a 'one-stop' resource center where they can safely access information regarding local services for famlies such as 'Family Friendly' events, Support Groups, Mom's Groups, Party Planning Services, Health & Wellness Information, and a comprehensive directory for kids related activities such as sports groups, classes, children's specialty stores, family planning, childcare, etc, we'll do it.
